I am running Raspbian with Pixel, and there two icons in the upper right of the taskbar, one for WiFi and one for Bluetooth. Clicking on either will bring up a menu. The first item on both menus is a "clickable" entry to turn off the respective service. It's bedtime in Misouri - good night everyone....

Three replies so far, and no one has explained to the OP that buying the SD card is
not enough - he (or someone) needs to install an operating system on it. Tsk, tsk.

The same exact thing is happening to me. Everything was working fine, then the wifi decided to die. :( Have you recently done anything with network security? I recently had a RPi 3 and two other wireless boards of a different brand all lose wifi at the same time. I thought my router had gone bad. G...

Is it really necessary to delete the partitions? I have never been in this particular situation, but it seems to me that if you just go ahead and format, the formatting would wipe out all the partitions - then you could just set up new ones.

I have also experienced this, and the only way out that I found was to reflash the
BerryBoot SD card. The downside is that you will then have to reinstall everything on
the PiDrive, since BerryBoot insist on formatting.
