Re: Triple function button to reboot/halt/reset/restart Pi

Uh, I' am interested in this because I run my Pi headless too. I've a peripheral which gives a "heartbeat" pulse (through a current limiting resistor) to GPIO4 but it's functionally useless for now. I would like to double this GPIO4 function input with a button that when pressed for 4 seconds overri...

Re: Raspy Juice Exp Board: Rev.1 PCBA

After many challenges, I've managed to re-start my small production of the Raspy Juice Exp Board with a new revision. Raspy Juice Rev.2 Board has small changes to: 1. Cater for manufacturing ease (previously additional SMT capacitors were manually soldered in). 2. A PCB provision for soldering an ad...

Re: Raspy Juice Exp Board: Rev.1 PCBA

Hi there Bence, My apologies. I've updated the Raspy Juice PCBA to Rev.2 and have a ordered a small test build run of this new revision. However, I've been alerted that some (active, semicon) components aren't received, and we're scurrying to find alternatives. I expected the built kits returned to ...

Re: Raspy Juice Exp Board: Rev.1 PCBA

Hi All, Arch Linux ARM for the Raspberry Pi has patched in the NXP PCF8523 RTC real time clock device driver in its latest linux-3.6.11-5 kernel! Used by Raspy Juice , this onboard RTC allows the Raspberry Pi to set the system time on boot-up where Internet or NTP services are unavailable. The sourc...

Re: Intentional Hub Back-feeding

You can try this: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 25#p262462
It a specifically designed Buck Regulator for the Raspberry Pi. I use it with common 12V adapters.
[eidt:] Additional +5V outputs are also available from the "Servo Ports", too.

Can microphones be used in this dart board application? But the detection would only be at the instance of the dart striking the board, though.

Hi guys, The long-awaited block diagram in SVG format is attached. Sorry, I've had problems generating the correct file format from my Altium CAD package. Eventually I used the free Serif DrawPlus to produce this drawing. The file is also available on the Google Code Raspy Juice project page . But s...

i have another question. Have you tried to get the PCF8523 module included in the Linux distro? I saw that you were interested in doing this back in August. I don't know how much work that is. This was mentioned in a thread which I've lost: a. I've to get a github account b. pull/clone(?) the Raspb...

Re: Raspy Juice Exp Board: Rev.1 PCBA

The from then on was somewhat confusing, but then you clarified it by saying that a reboot can sometimes fix it, so when you said permanent you mean as long as the board is powered on. So I take this to mean if a unit had this symptom, you could reflash with the 134 firmware and it work work again,...

I think the Juice has all that I am looking for. I need to run from a 12V supply and communicate with a master over RS485. Which chip did you short SDA to ground in order to get this to happen, or does it matter? a. The SDA snd SCL are bussed to all chips, so it doesn't matter. Up to 4 common RC servos may be attached, powered, and controlled directly by Raspy Juice, again [sic] with minimal wiring jungle.
