Re: Using F5 key without Fn key?

I have a Logitech K400r keyboard for my Raspberry Pi 2 Model 8 V1.1. I'd like to be able to run a Python program by pressing just F5 without having to press Fn simultaneously. I have searched with Google and on the Raspi forum but haven't found a solution that works for me. Is there a way for me to...

Re: would like to use a raspberry pi to record power consumption for equipment in our factory

would like to use a raspberry pi to record power consumption for equipment in our factory. I know the voltage going in so I just need a sensor that can monitor a amperage, preferably USB for simplicity but anything that can work with the raspberry pi. It is very large equipment (150hp electric moto...

The only cases I've seen like you described are the ones for the Official Raspberry Pi 7" display. There are "case like" kits for turning a Pi into a laptop/tablet: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/35410622/raspad-raspberry-pi-tablet-for-your-creative-proje https://pi-top.com/ https://kano.me/st...

Re: What Do You Guys Think Of This Raspberry Pi Pad?

An other day, another scam. 600,000 dollars snagged from Kickstarter. 700,000 dollars snagged from Indiegogo So far I don't even see a link to a web site that works for this product. It might be late and not work as promised but I wouldn't quite call it a scam as they are shipping product, unlike t...

Re: Power the Pi using NiMH rechargable batteries

I use a Raspberry Pi 3B+. I have 5, 600mah, 1.2v, rechargable NiMH batteries. So, first, would 6 volts be too much for the Pi? And how long will 3000mah last it? Can I even use NiMH batteries? And if this setup would work, are their any screens that would work with 6 volts? I would be using a wirel...

I doubt there will ever be an "official" foundation case because of the Stem is of limited functionality upgrade from the commonly available short usb cable. For something simple as measuring a sensor, have you considered using a wifi micro controller like a ESP8266? You also didn't say how much hacking you're willing to do, or are you searching for a finished product. https://hilo90mhz.com/esp8266-battery-monitor/ https://www.hackster.io/jamin/blynk-pow...

Why all-in-one unit? Usually it's better to separate your power and data transfer.

It's a bit overkill but something like this world work.
