You can mark this topic as resolved. Thanks for your help
The issue may not be as resolved as I thought. The issue seems to reappear after a reboot :-(

Re: Raspberry Pi 3B+ WiFi issues CONN_FAILED

Apologies I meant Stretch! I've just made a breakthrough with the issue affecting my Jessie > Stretch upgraded image wifi issue I noticed the following error in dmesg 11.890225] brcmfmac: brcmf_cfg80211_add_iface: iface validation failed: err=-16 This made me suspect a wifi driver issue. Removing th...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3B+ WiFi issues CONN_FAILED

No, not properly but I assume it will work well. It's important for my application that I get the upgraded image to work. I will give the stock Jessie image a try, at least this will inform how wifi should work! The fact the wifi does initially connect indicates that it's *nearly* working on my upgr...

Upgrade Jessie Lite to Jessie Full

Hi, Is is possible to upgrade a Jessie Lite image to full Jessie? Is it just as simple as installing packages? Where would I start to find a list of the packages to install? Very sorry if this has been discussed previously, I could not find a solution by searching the forums. Keep up the good work g...

Re: Pi 3 as wiireless client and wireless AP?

Yes, RasPi3 should support client + AP mode at the same time: See section at the bottom: valid interface combinations: * #{ IBSS, managed, AP } <= 2, #{ P2P-client, P2P-GO } <= 1, #{ P2P-device } <= 1, total <= 3, #channels <= 2 Device supports scan flush. iw list Wiphy phy0 max # scan SSIDs: 10 max...

Re: [Solved] AP + Client using BCM43143?

I think AP + client mode could be possible with BCM43143. I have a Pi3 which has the same chipset $ iwlist Returns: valid interface combinations: * #{ IBSS, managed, AP } <= 2, #{ P2P-client, P2P-GO } <= 1, #{ P2P-device } <= 1, total <= 3, #channels <= 2 Which suggests that managed + AP mode is pos...
