Thank you. Yes it is a BLE Device and I did try: hcitool lescan which did work. Is there an equivalent c function call for BLE or flag settings for: num_rsp = hci_inquiry(dev_id, len, max_rsp, NULL, &ii, flags); I am new to the ble api so will do some more testing and reading.
