Re: understanding "not" in Python

I suspect that "not state" would be the same statement as "!state" in other languages.
So if state is true, then not state would be the inverse, so false, and vice versa.

Re: Car radio steering wheel commands: read analog inputs

A lot of times, those resistance values are read by a CAN bus module that transmits the values over the CAN network.

I doubt that the wires are wired directly to the radio.

Have you tried to scan the CAN bus using an OBD reader while pressing the buttons?

Re: USB gps problem

You can use cgps or xgps as test clients for gpsd to get more detailed info about the gps and its lock state.

Install via sudo apt-get install gpsd-clients python-gps

Re: AirPi 1.4 wanted

He can't buy it there because it is not for sale anymore, from the page:
Retired

This product is no longer available for sale. The seller may be offering an improved version or it may be hanging out on the beach, enjoying the retired life.
The store owner's page also gives a 404.

Re: Raspberry pi3 and Ubuntu x64

I think the question is asking if there is a 64bit arm version, and the answer is no.
