Thanks for the picture ! I understand now that on the iPad (=VNCclient) I only see the screen sent by the rpi(=VNCserver) and it is irrelevant that the iPad screen has tough-screen capabilities. I would therefore need to install some tough-screen capabilities on the rpi first and then hope that this...

@FrankA : you missed the point that we want to use the tough screen capabilities of the iPad to drive the rpi! This is where help is needed.

Is it needed to install a special sw (driver?) to enable the rpi for tough screen operation and gesture handling?

Any help is appreciated.

I use port 5900 and it works fine to connect BUT have not worked out how to enable the virtual keyboard. The mouse works fine although not like I was expecting. what I realy would like to achieve is to have a 3rd option on the VolumnControl Icon showing Analog/HDMI/BT-audio

Have configured all for my UE Mobile Boombox but fail to get it working.

have the same problem on rpi3
have set the advanced option to analog but next time I reboot and try to pay with gmpc I get alway error message:All audio outputs are disabled.

I which config files may I have made a mistake?

Is there a possibility to add an external - more powerful antenna to the internal wifi on rpi3.
I noticed that the reach of the internal wifi is very sensitive to the powersupply of the rpi and voltage drops cause unpredictable behavior.
