I'm dialed into the router itself and I can see the raspberry pi and its ip address. how do I force it to keep the raspberry pi n that address

it came on a card loaded with the image. the image acts like jessie with a few adjustments. I wouldn't recommend getting this to anyone. there absolutely no useful info that they have available to using or setting up there sensors or what software is there. I wish I could find another program to use...

that's pretty much the way I been tying it . I have a couple concerns with the info. when I put in the sudo nano command it says to adjust one of the lines. on my pi there nothing there to adjust. I type in the info making adjustments for my network info and save using control x and y and reboot and...

ill check out your link. I'm using the R pihome version for home automation. the link that they have with the software does not have an audible info. its really not helpful. so I came here to try and find some help

no it just goes to he next line when I hit enter. this all would have been so much better if they would make the frame correctly. I'm going to reload noobs again and try again your suggestion

Ive tried that 10 times this morning . When i try to update the setting it doesnt let me . Ive been working on and off this for a month and getting no where . I need a screen shot or something .
