Try Maintly Maldita Castilla from locoMalito is still my favorite, I dont know if more games will came, I´m only and entusiast of old arcade games and raspberry pi not related to yoyo-games. In the game maker forum there is a post that explain that...

Re: Using a Joystick with no microcontroller

Hi descartes, you will need to use the GPIO or buy an usb enconder that acts like a microcontroller. If you want to use the gpio, conect one gpio pin to one of the conectors of each micro-switch, and from a ground pin of the gpio, create a chain of conectos and plug or solder in each free conector o...

Re: Bartop and new frontend for emulation

Higgy, we put vertical support in the to-do list.
One question:
How do you drive the vertical resolution? From mame config file or from config.txt (system file)?

Thanks.

Re: Bartop and new frontend for emulation

Thanks Welshy :)
We will report the progress of the frontend in this thread, for now we have to implement control with joystick and keyboard, because the only input method is with gpio , when we were ready we will release the frontend.
For now we are searching for beta testers.

Re: Bartop and new frontend for emulation

Thanks mgoulart :) To install a coin aceptor, take a look at http://forums.adafruit.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=44883 . For now the frontend is tightly bound to the customized version of raspbian, and only accept gpio controls as inputs, in a few months will be released a modified version of the fronten...
