need help lasertag like game

Hi!, i'm lost, i'm tired of test pigpio, lirc ... please help. My homework is to use two or more raspberrys to do a lasertag like game. It's made by a raspberripy with 3 irda sensors (3 legs each one) connected to 3 gpios. In the other place, a raspberrypi with an irda transmitter (two legs) shots a...

Re: need IR send and receive, please help

The GPIO pins won't supply enough power to drive the IR LED. You need a transistor. There are many tutorials online for the Pi and IR which mention this. This one for example http://www.raspberry-pi-geek.com/Archive/2015/10/Raspberry-Pi-IR-remote I'm trying, but the problem with lirc, when i try to...

Re: need IR send and receive, please help

How have you wired the transmitter LED? Do you have a transistor in the circuit? How far apart are the transmitter and receiver? Do you need to send signals that are compatible with common TV IR remote controls or can you another protocol like irDA? The transmitter LED has one wire to the GND and t...

Re: led ceiling (100 led)

100 w8201 pixels? That's going to be relatively easy, but also relatively hella expensive. I'd suggest googling around to see the different types of options available - and be aware that all of them are going to need some extra components. It also depends what sort of LEDs you have and how controll...

search for led pixels, you can use addressable led strips to manage a lot of them. I've test with the chip ws2801, works perfect.

Re: it's possible to receive 433mhz?

If you can find some other 433MHx transmitters try those. Car alarm keyfobs, remote control mains power sockets, wireless heating thermostats, desktop weather stations with outdoor sensor. Lots of things use 433MHz. Some of them may work. If so it suggests a problem with your Arduino transmitter. A...

OK, so you do have downloaded and compiled the 433Utils and got to this point: Step Three - Run the RFSniffer Sketch Within the 433Utils/RPi_utils directory, do a: sudo ./RFSniffer Grab your wireless button (or any 433MHz generating device.) and get pressing! You should see its code appear in your ...

i still thinking that this is not the correct way. The Raspicam must work perfect from the begining, like RaspberryPi. And time after, the community may program what the want. But the first is work, and the Raspicam is not working, now is a external device that only uses the RaspberryPi for shot and...
