Re: First time poster! Multiple questions
Sounds like a great, fun project. Who cares about the economics versus pre-sorted bags, the price point of the Pi is that icheap you experiment without fear, and when the project is challenging and has a practical use you are guaranteed even more fun

Re: Citrix announce a thin Pi
I got that end, fruitoftheloom. If I could have been bothered to hook up an ethernet cable maybe the browser that launched would have connected to the remote sites it tried to reach. It needs a local Citrix server to connect to. A cursory search threw up some open versions that I could d/l and play...

Re: Raspberry Pi 'community'
There are four years of posts on here now, that a lot of coverage of most issues, so Google will now find the answers to most questions. This means people have less need to post on here. So the community is still here, but less needed. As for particular projects, I'm sure Liz would like for people ...

Re: PiZero Roadmap
Brilliant marketing ploy as the community loves nothing more than speculating on new features but probably not needed, let's face it we're all gagging for as many zeros as we can snaffle up as soon as they are available :D until the cat escapes the bag I'll sit back and enjoy the fun So great news o...

Re: Pi 2 SD Card on Pi 3?
Make sure you have upgraded ( sudo apt-get upgrade ) whilst the card is still in the Pi2 and it should work when you swap it into the Pi3. I've had no issues with the 8gb card I have in my work Pi3 since doing this

Re: Ditch the locking micro-SD slot and go for a regular one
Definitely sits in "can't please all the people all of the time" territory, at work I'm regularly needing to swap SDs at the moment and the cases we're using make things really difficult without the push to eject option. At home I'm more likely to leave the SD where it is for longer so pre...
