Re: raspian won't boot

FYI, the problem was the HDMI Safe mode. Despite being part of the HDMI specification, it isn't supported by all devices, I've had issues with it on an LG Monitor and my Samsung TV at home. If you experience similar issues, where the Pi looks to be booting ok but there's nothing on screen try this: ...

This might be a little late but I've just had the same experience, I started with the commands you followed and my device wasn't being detected by the rtl_test command. # Install dependencies sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get -y install git cmake build-essential libusb-1.0 qt4-qmake libpulse-dev libx...

The PC version of Open Arena should be backwards compatible with the slightly older Pi version, so it should work fine :)

This is an old thread, but I managed to get it up and running and thought it might be useful for future reference. I grabbed Oracle JDK 8 (with JavaFX) for ARM Early Access Created a directory to install the JDK to: mkdir -p /opt Decompress the JDK: sudo tar zxvf (name of package) -C /opt Make sure ...

Re: Approval process

Hey Trevor,

Once you uploaded the latest version did you hit the build button? The build process will replace your files on the server and announce to the client that there's a new version available.

Hmm, an odd one! What have you tried installing? Could you please navigate to /usr/share/indiecity/pistore/scripts and run the enablelogging.sh script. Hey,

Could you paste the error message that you receive?

Have you expanded the root partition on your SD card? If not, there are directions on running raspi-config here

Re: The User Interface Failed To Load

Any progress on the Pi Store working from behind a proxy? This would be GREATLY appreciated by all those who work in educational establishments and who have to work under locked down systems! :ugeek: Hey! We're aware of the demand for this feature and it's certainly on our to-do list but I can't gi...

Re: Pi Store stop working after...

Can you try running the following command in the terminal and see if that fixes things:

Code: Select all

sudo chmod -R 775 /var/lib/indiecity/pistore

Re: Pi Store stop working after...

Could you try running the following command in LXTerminal:

Code: Select all

stat /var/lib/indiecity/pistore/GUI
If you copy/paste the output into your reply that'd be helpful :)

After that, delete the contents of the /var/lib/indiecity/pistore/GUI folder and run the client again. See what happens :)

Hey Jessie,

Oh that's a weird one. I've just tried it out and it worked. Do you see rpix86 in the My Library tab? If so, click on it in the Library. Does the info window on the right show anything?

Re: Pi Store stop working after...

Hi there, Was the store working before you updated? How are you connected to the network? Are you using wifi/3G or a proxy server? Are you connecting to the pi via SSH rather than locally? Any details in how you've got your Pi setup would be really useful as we generally just test with the Pi hooked...

Can you try navigating to /home/pi/indiecity/pistore and removing the userdata.bin file?

Re: `Cannot Join if Under 13

So for what other purpose do you need the personal information, when processing a free download? When we started IndieCity we wanted to allow users to log in to the download client from anywhere and have access to their whole library. It wasn't a design decision taken with the Pi Store in mind as t...
