Re: Pi won't boot after rpi-update

Well yeah, I know It's Raspbian Stretch. I'll try flashing this version and copying this over.
We'll see if this works... Thanks for the useful answer.

Luckily you guys made the kernel/boot partition available for windows explorer :)

Re: Pi won't boot after rpi-update

If you read the link provided there is a paragraph about rolling back to a working configuration.
Yes I read that. Too bad you can't execute bash commands when the system doesn't boot huh?

Re: Pi won't boot after rpi-update

Well to upgrade my firmware to the latest version?
Or is that a strange thing to do on a test environment...
Can you now please answer my question instead of asking other questions and referring to the documentation?

PHP 5 and PHP 7.0 will be deprecated

One.com sent me an email warning me that they will deprecate any PHP 5 version and also PHP 7.0. This tells me that it may be time to migrate my Raspberry Pi Webserver as well... I've already tried installing PHP 7.0, 7.1, or 7.2 on my raspberry pi some time ago. But the packages are not yet availab...

Re: how can I send emails from my raspberry pi without gmail

Apparently nobody here is able to produce a productive answer. So now I will: https://tutorials.pieterjan.pro/?a=Webdesign_Hosting_Extra_Mail_Google For now it's still in Dutch, but I'll be working on English in the future. Basically: Almost every ISP blocks traffic trough router port 25(SMTP). So w...

enable SSH (2016-11-25)

Hi,

Can you please enable SSH by default in the newest version of Raspbian (2016-11-25).
Lots of people don't want to connect a monitor, mouse and keyboard to start using Raspbian.

Re: Audio output problem

To play mp3-files or radio-livestreams you can use MPD. It might be an old program, but it works fine More info on my website: http://pieterjan.pro/Tutorials/?a=Webdesign_Hosting_Extra_MPD . I can't find the website I got it from, but it should work. You can just add a livestream-audio to build a we...

mpd and Raspbian Jessy

Hi, I'm trying to run the Music Player Daemon on my Raspberry pi 3, using the Raspbian Jessy OS. I'm able to play mp3-files to a speaker. Now I want to use Icecast2 to stream the audio to the web. But when i enable the audio_output to stream to icecast, I get the error zeroconf: No global port, disa...

Re: [MPD]Connection refused with MPC

The error says all.
Quality and bitrate are both defined.
You should only define one of them.
The other parameter is calculated from the known parameter.
so either define the quality:

Code: Select all

	quality "5.0"
#	bitrate "128"
or define the bitrate:

Code: Select all

#	quality "5.0"
	bitrate "128"

Re: Raspberry Pi and the ACS ACR1252U USB NFC Card reader

I think you still need to install the card-reader's driver using apt-get. I had the same issue so I did research for a long time and finally came to http://androidraspberryarduino.blogspot.be/ . I executed sudo apt-get install libacr38u and everything started working. Run pcsc_scan in the command pr...
