16 bit ADC For Audio Input to PI

I would like to add an audio input to a PI using an ADC. Could anyone suggest a reasonable priced ADC that would do 16/44 or CD quality.

I am thinking I will have to write a device driver so the ADC can be interrupt serviced..

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

What cable is missing?
What's none standard?
I've looked in the docs and cannot see what you are seeing?
I reworded my post. You are right, it hooks up via USB. I thought it provided a native MSATA interface, but it is through one of the USB ports. Not optimal IMHO. WD PiDrive is cheaper..

Raspberry PI Desktop - Pricey, yes

I bought one of these Newark Raspberry Pi Desktops. It is a nice enough case and package, with two major deficiencies: The package gives you an MSATA interface for an additional drive. The MSATA interface is offered via USB, and therefore is subject to speed limitations of the USB BUS. For the price...

Re: RPi Display and Rasberry PI 3

If you install the latest Raspbian / Pixel there's no problem at all with the RPF display. There were some early firmware problems and problems with not being able to rotate the display but that's all ancient history now. Thank you very much for the clarifications! This is what I was worried about....

RPi Display and Rasberry PI 3

Last time I visited this forum, quite some time ago, the Raspebrry PI 3 just came out, and at that time it seemed as if it was not compatible with the Official Rasberry PI Touchscreen. I am enquiring now, if this has changed? I did quite a bit of searching through this forum, and did not see anythin...

Re: RPI3 corrupting microsd card/filesystem?

I will go out on a limb here .. I was having the same problems a couple weeks ago on an RPI 2. Turns out the first thing that needs to be done after you first boot the OS is to expand the file system. Did you do that before applying updates, fixes, or additional programs?

Re: Adding Packages and PI Does Not Boot..

Hello Trevor,

I am running with a 64GB card. I did not apply any changes to the file system. I will look into expanding the file system... Thank-you!

Cheers,

Adding Packages and PI Does Not Boot..

I am seeing an issue with the PI, I am hoping there is a solution. I built a fresh Jessie image for my PI. It boots up, and I make all the initial adjustments, lcd_rotate=2, (I am using the raspberry I display), and my wifi password. So then I proceed to preferences and using the Add and Remove soft...

Display and Pi Case?

Does anyone know of a case that encloses both the Raspberry Pi LCD display, and the Raspberry PI? I have a case which is more less just an enclosure and legs for the Pi display, but the Pi and other wires are visible from the back, and not protected. I would like a case that is more durable, and and...

How To Rotate Screen 180 Degrees?

Hello, I purchased the official raspberry pi screen, and one of the cases. The case is OK .. I will be asking more about different cases in another forum post. My immediate question is this: I assembled the Pi and display from the included instructions, and it displayed and booted on the first try. ...
