Yep. If you need to know temps, get the crayons that are out there. They start around 105 deg's F.
Not with the Pi, but the unit that Microsoft is working with Qualcomm on, they will have a ARM chip that will run their new RT version of Windows 10.
That is because the wifi and ethernet are tied into the USB ports. Do not know why you are going about the hard way to get a headless system to work. Just use VNC. Need to look at the OTG = On The Go stuff for the pi.
