Xbox one wireless controller adapter

Does anyone know if the XBOX one wireless controller adapter works on the Pi?

And if yes...how?

GS-3360bb continuous servo

I've got a GS-3360bb continuous servo and it is working ....well turning. I cant get it to return to a specific position. I want it to be able to go back to 0 - 90 - 180 - 270 - 360.

Is this a lost cause, do I need a some extra hardwhere?

PiGlow not as root

I'm trying to run start python script from init.d following http://www.pietervanos.net/knowledge/st ... om-init-d/ it all looks good but the PiGlow i'm trying to use needs to run as root.

So I'm stuck how can I get init.d to run a service as root or get the PiBow scripts not to.

Re: Python + MS SQL

Thanks for the feedback. The problem was with pymssql there was a bug where no result rows are returned from queries. This is fixed in 2.1.0 which we had to download and compile ourselves.

Python + MS SQL

Has anyone managed to get Python on a Pi talking to MS SQL (yes I mean Microsoft SQL)
If not does anyone know of any other languages that do work. Python appears to be missing some binary that haven't been installed.

Gertduino & Wireless card dropping out

When I'm running my GertDuino and connecting via ssh with a wireless card i find that when the NeoPixels (strip of 30) starts to run, often the network card doesn't respond. Could this be a power thing? Maybe driving 30 NeoPixels drains the power and the WiFi runs out of juice? This doesn't always h...

Re: Arduino IDE

I took the "-master" off the end of the folder name and it worked.

I dont know why but it appears that the .h file was named without a - in the name which it needed.

Thanks all

Re: email to run a script

The idea is to hopefully connect the Pi to some hardware and make some lights glow. The email will come from an SNMP monitoring solution, so if the Pi gets an email some equipment has failed. A big red light shows the room there is a problem.

It's a enclosed space so i don't need a lot of IR. if i can drive it from the GPIO direct it would be great.

Re: ModMyPi Mk.2 USB Hub, 2.5'' HDD, Patch Bay, On/Off - Ide

The Mk2 case is a looking great. It looks like you've had a similar idea to once i've had before and failed to make into an actual 3D model. I think with the hub and HDD you are making it a little too niche. Have you thought about the extra space just being more of a free development area? Sell a nu...

I've getting data from a MySQL database (gpio temperature sensor) and storing 1 row into a variable to use with pCharts. If i create the variable manually this work $sensor1c = "24.5,24.5,24.5,24.5,24.5,24.5,24.5,24.5,24.5,24.5,24.5,24.5,"; However if i get the data from the DB and then add it to a ...
