Raspberry with FT5316 capacitive touch controller?

I would like to connect a display with a capacitive touch screen to my Raspberry Pi 2 B running Raspbian Jessie. The touch driver is the FT5316. I already have the official 7" with FT5604 running, and I would like to know if the two drivers are compatible or not. If no, is there a chance to make the...

Re: Touch Screen Sensitivity

Jimbo213Mo, inside the file that you edited is there the possibility to change or modify the sensitivity to the touch? In my application I have a glass lens above the official capacitive 7" display, and I need more sensitivity.
Thanks in advance!

Problems with the official WiFi dongle!

Hi, I know there are many discussions about the topic, but after many tries I still have no luck with the setup of my Raspberry WiFi dongle. Rotate Raspberry screen via command line?

Is it possible to rotate the RPi display directly by command line (without editing the config.txt file)?
I've searched for this possibility but without success.

Thanks!

Re: Raspberry Pi doesn't boot after apt-get update!

After installing the stand alone image (not NOOBS) you must expand the filesytem then reboot first thing before doing ANYTHING else. If you forget to do that then you will run out of disk space and trash the OS when doing update / upgrade. You can use the Raspberry Pi Configuration in Preferences m...

Raspberry Pi doesn't boot after apt-get update!

I just installed the latest Raspbian Jessie on a microSD card (without Noobs), I inserted into my Raspberry Pi 2 Model B and the OS started well. But there is a very strange problem that came out after I did the following: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get build-dep qt4-x11 sudo apt-get build-dep lib...

Re: How To Rotate Screen 180 Degrees?

Barbieboy,
When the Raspberry is booted, open the terminal and type:

Code: Select all

sudo nano /boot/config.txt
at the end of the file, you simply add:

Code: Select all

lcd_rotate=2
then save and exit with CTRL+X, Y, Enter key.

Reboot the Raspberry and you've done.

Hi! I've been looking for the official drawing dimensions of the official Raspberry 7" display, but without any success. Does anyone have the official measures for this product? Not only the external ones, but a complete document with all the drawing dimensions.

Please, can anyone help?

Yes, I rebooted. So you mean that I have to install "libqt5serialport5" in addition to "libqt5serialport5-dev"?

Re: Send a QString to the serial port in C++

Sorry, I am using Qt Creator 3.5.1, based on Qt5.
My problem with QSerialPort is that it seems I can't add it to my project.
I added:

Code: Select all

QT += serialport
at the top of my .pro file, but then the build fails.. Is that file the right place where to put it?
