Hi Afreitas, I do not know if you still have the problem with the error "[Errno Input overflowed] -9981", but I found out what you have to do to solve that. It has to do with the "CHUNK" parameter in that same file "mic.py". You have to change this to a higher value and I think it was to 25% or 50% ...

@Itsamemario, yes I have checked the the Mic was compatible. I am using the TRIXES USB Microphone and on the following post I confirmed that it worked with RPi:

OK cool, so what I do know is that with those files I mentioned above we should be able to get it working. I just haven't found the right combination yet to use the USB mic correctly... If you start working on the Jasper project again and find a solution for this please post it here :) I will do the...
