I've been using it with arch linux on my Pi 2.

It works out of the box, except multitouch. I don't bother, as i hardly fire up an xserver anyway.

The bigger problem is that the Wolfson kernel won't have the official display code built in to it. They don't keep up with all of the kernel development. I've tried, but it seems as if the necessary GPIO pins are not routed through the Audio card ...
