TightVNC Authentication Problems

Hi - so using Tightvnc on my RPi and port-forwarding so I can access from another computer outside of my network. Works great - but - recently keep getting 'Too Many Attempts' authentication failure. Can I assume someone or a bot is trying to hack me? How can I protect myself? Can I restrict access ...

PixelBrick - Real Time Train/Bus/Weather Monitoring Device

Got tired of phone notifications in the morning. I wanted to create a very simple wall-mounted device that could visually show me real-time updates about the things I care about most in the 20 minutes between me waking up and leaving the house. So - is the trains/bus/tube running on time and what is...

Creating a commercial product

Has anyone commercialised something they have prototyped on Pi?

I am building something that uses the Pi with Sensehat and may want to go down this route. Any pointers welcomed.

Sensehat - making it stable on the board

Creating a project where the RPi with Sensehat will be wall mounted and the joystick used to control the display. The issue is when I move joystick the hat moves. Is there an elegant way to deal with this that others know about? If all else fails there always blutac I guess..

Thanks

Best way to create image of raspbian setup?

Hi - I have been working on a project with a developer which uses sensehat. I want to port the application to a clean RPi. The setup manually is cumbersome as there are bunch of things that need to be setup as root first. I was wondering if the best way to achieve this would be to take an image (per...

Re: Astro Pi Temperature Sensor Reading

It's not an option for the ISS use case but for home use you can connect the astropi via a 40-way ribbon cable and a male-male adaptor. I'll add a photo of my setup when I get to the office. OK - picture - IMG_0161.jpg I'm actually using a 40pin stacker header that passes through the astropi socket...

Sorry for small image but upload limits here tiny. First line at top is temperature, second one is pressure and third is humidity.

Sensehat Readings Making No Sense

Hi,

I understand the sensors are not the best but struggling to explain the negative correlation between temperature and pressure (I might be missing something obvious perhaps)

See attached image taken over ~10 hours in cooling room (where heater was turned off)

Hi - looking to create a small cheap temperature logger that streams to the internet.

What components can I use to create this, ideally no soldering if possible?

Thanks
