Re: [HOWTO] Decoding pager transmissions with a Pi and rtl-s

After speaking to the author of rtl_fm it appears there is a problem with the later versions that cause it to stop working with multimon-ng, which he is looking into. For now you'll have to roll back to the earlier commit I posted. As a little bonus, here's a simple way to listen to the output of r...

Re: [HOWTO] Decoding pager transmissions with a Pi and rtl-s

:) Flex is the majority of TX , they seem to take alternate bursts on the same frequency, so no re-tune would be required.

Re: [HOWTO] Decoding pager transmissions with a Pi and rtl-s

This is a great project, Is there any chance of FLEX being added to multimoNG? implementing jessie and sdr radio seems to be a bit of over kill.

AVR dude on Raspi?, not gipo though

Hi, I have looked over the forum for a way of compiling AVR dude to my raspi, everything I find jumps straight to using the pins on the Pi but I don't need that. I just need to use avr dude via the usb, if possible to replace a laptop that is on limited life expectancy so I can carry on transferring...

Getting a python script running when WiCD finds my network

Hi, I was wondering on how to do the following... The problem I am running TightVNC from auto start ( no problems there ) I used an autostart script to get the VNCserver to run on GUI Launch, very good it is too. I also use some LEDs from GIPO pins for experiments, but what I want to do is get these...

Sorry, I have not tried your method yet, I am using the composite outs not HDMI.

I have had no trouble with using a standard 8 bit joystick plugged into the Keyrah, getting to 5th dan on exploding fist all over again!

I run both of mine with startx, vice wont run without it, the sound cracks when you give the pi something hard to do like move a mouse while commando is belting out on the tv! but I can live with this. I am making a video on how I used two separate boots to run both these emuls in a nice aspect rati...

Re: C64 emulator

I experienced similar problems doing it that way, I think its because some extra compiling is needed to get the packaged required to run it. Frank Buss kindly assited me with an alternative way of installing this on Debian Wheezy though, he has permitted me to share it here. wget http://www.frank-bu...

Re: C64 emulator

Thats interesting, I added the repositry from the Elinux site as I did previously, but now I too have debian flavour squeeze and it threw 404 errors at me.

Are you getting missing libs' as you run up x64?

Re: How could I make a alternative boot?

Hi since upgrading to Wheezy Beta, this script does not work as well, it executes runemu okay and reboots in the eum overscan settings, however it never changes back. what code should I use to make a 'runnormal' command that will manually return the rebooted pi to normal overscan settings- this is f...

Re: C64 emulator

Frank is Correct, I used the Keyrah Interface, the joyports give inputs that can be mapped to the emulator. http://retrotext.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/VIC%20314 There are only four pins, but it you are unsure you can use the Usb lead and loop it in to the side where the power would normally go. Re: On/Off Switch

Hi, I used a phone charger on my PI in my project, I found that white was +ive [ please check youself!] It certainly feels better to have a real switch to the Pi. I would consider extending the wire while you are at it, as adding a switch will restrict the reach of the lead, or you may discover that...

Re: Raspberry 500 / Amiga Pi ?

If you have difficulty with your keyboard adapter, you can try the Keyrah one that I used- It is amiga compatible too. I traded off the sim card access as I wanted to avoid cutting the case and it would also restrict where I could site my PI, so I just open it up to change SDs ( not that I have any ...

I used a simple 4 way one from tesco, the pi reads the extra ports on boot and I have had no problems, I think it set me back about £3.50
