Re: red light blink

It means the 5V power supply is going below 4.65V. Either the PSU is inadequate, or the cable from PSU to Pi is too long or thin, or something else is loosing volts along the way. Which model Pi? What is connected to it (anything on HDMI, USB, or GPIO)? What is the PSU spec (V and A)? thanks, P2b 5...

So VP9 will be software decoded on the Raspberry Pi in every program, so it might not work good on it, I think I never tried to play vp9 videos in Kodi on the RPi. Kodi uses ffmpeg, version 3.1.X on Kodi 17.6 w...

Re: [Guide] Kodi on Raspbian Stretch

does kodi support VP9 stream?

got a vp9 file, omxplayer can not play at all.
kodi can play but choppy and A/V not sync, or Pis just less power?
btw, mpv-rpi do the good job for vp9 format.

use weston-launch work fine, but wonder which gbm-format for Pi2?
man weston.ini

Code: Select all

sets the GBM format used for the framebuffer for the GBM back‐end.
Can be xrgb8888, xrgb2101010, rgb565. By default, xrgb8888 is used.

One strange thing about the updated Chromium in Raspbian is that the content settings have no ads configuration option whereas Windows Chrome has had an ads setting since version 64.
it had ads option.

Yes, it ships with vlc 2.2.8. Output is via GL (the image uses vc4-fkms-v3d with Mesa userland support).
