I can dump EDID of my monitor from my computer with DVI(output)/VGA(input). useful ?

edid.dat is 256 * 0xFF, only this, nothing more.

The answer for new kernel :
# /opt/vc/bin/tvservice -s
state: HPD high|DVI mode|HDCP off|composite off (0x120016), 1280x720 @ 60Hz, progressive

no tvservice for the old kernel.

I install raspbian on my rPi, so i can't for the moment.

But overscan is not good for me, because i can't have something good, and the screen is over-brighted. Black is more near grey than black. :)

HDMI/DVI-D doesn't fit with latest firmware

Hi, I've a little problem with latest firmwares. With a 26-05-12 firmware, i can use my HDMI>DVI-D cable with my computer screen. Console text don't fit the screen, but it's correct with openelec xbmc config.txt : hdmi_group=2 hdmi_mode=58 But now, with latest firmwares, without or with config.txt, ...
