help> module error

Buster installed this weekend on 3B+, download labeled 9-26-19 full image. On both versions of Python when trying to list modules in interactive help I get: Warning, could not find Analog or Touch... Please check your i2c settings. How do I get past this? This is not associated with a script - just ...

Re: Original rPi Model B doesn't recognise external HDD

I have a Pi2 running a 1TB Seagate usb drive for backup. Had to add max_usb_current=1 to my /boot/config.txt file to increase the current available to usb ports. Works on some models of Pi, but can't remember which ones........

Re: Gstreamer error state change failed and some element failed...

Loaded 16g SD card with new load of Stretch OS and started over. Loaded Clementine and attempted to play ogg file. Connected to BT headset OK, but still no audio out. Tried rerouting audio through raspi-config, but didn't do anything spectacular. I saw somewhere that you have to make sure that you a...

Gstreamer error state change failed and some element failed...

Trying to get Bluetooth working. I loaded the SoundWire program and was able to send audio to my android using Clementine. The next day I bought a bluetooth headphone adapter and could not get any output. Fiddled around with it until I finally got the above message about Gstreamer. I could try my us...

Re: Integrated Python GUI builder and IDE

Page is working for me now. I actually made a skeleton GUI in about 15 minutes that looks promising. It's not the most stunning graphic interface I've ever seen, but since I will only be using it to monitor and water my plants, I doubt if they'll mind at all. I don't think we'll get a display as ele...

Re: Integrated Python GUI builder and IDE

I'm making an automated plant environment for my daughter for Christmas and am working out the hardware and software issues slowly. I looked around for a GUI editor for Python too, and I'm disappointed. The ones I've tried so far are so convoluted that you give up before you get anything on the scre...

Re: RTB & wiringPi on Pi 3 Model B versus the older Pi Model B+

I just found out about fuze basic today. I need to control a servo-actuated robotic arm and I'm researching whether to use Firmata, Nanpy, or now fuze basic to communicate with an arduino nano. Problem is that I get a 404 error trying to get the file (wget https://fuzebasic.com/fuzebasic_3.9.1_insta...
