Hi everyone
Is there a best 40 pin ribbon cable to get as I want to try separating the Sense Hat to get a more accurate temperature reading. Also, do I need anything more to get the connection working?
Thanks so much

Re: Scratch and SenseHat programming
Thanks for the reply, Tim - I have managed to create the sprites and display them on the LEDs. Do you know if it is possible to program Scratch to display the Hat sensor readings, either within the Scratch window, on the SenseHat LEDs or both?
Many thanks

Display temperature/humidity etc readings on sense hat
Hi everyone
Has anyone been able to program Scratch to display the readings for the sensors using the leds on the sense hat please? I am wondering whether a broadcast command will do it, but do not know which commands are relevant.
Thanks

Re: Scratch and SenseHat programming
Hi and many thanks for the reply. I was thinking of using Scratch to tell the sense hat which LEDs to light up for different programs and games. Can they be specified on an individual basis, eg 1-64 left to right, top to bottom? Also, as a response tool, I had ideas for using the LEDs to show correc...

Scratch and SenseHat programming
Hi everyone,
Has anyone got a list of commands to program the SenseHat astro pi through scratch via gpioserver, please? I'm trying to experiment with lighting up individual leds in the first instance.
Thanks

Sense Hat with Scratch
Hi everyone, hope you had a good Christmas. So, I've treated myself to a Sense Hat for my Pi2 but I cannot get Scratch to talk to it over VNC, A sample Python program works fine, but Scratch - even with GPIO server started - doesn't want to run.
Any ideas, please?
Many thanks

Re: Tight VNC Server load on boot
Thank you both so much. I think I have solved it. The target machine was named incorrectly in the script and was refusing connections. Great forum and I've learnt so much already!

Re: Tight VNC Server load on boot
Thank you. Tried netstat before and after a manual startup of vncserver and it appears it hadn't loaded on boot.

Re: Tight VNC Server load on boot
Thank you for the reply. I followed the instructions but I still get an active refusal from the pi to the viewer machine. Is there a way to check if the server is running on the pi after startup please?

Tight VNC Server load on boot
Hi all,
I'm trying to follow the instructions on raspberrypi.org/documentation for loading a tightvncserver on boot of the pi. I'm new to this, so please forgive my basic question - how do I create a file within the directory /etc/init.d and how do I then save it, please?
Many thanks

Recommended sensor kit for primary Scratch work
Hi,
New to the forum - which looks great by the way - and looking for some advice on a simple kit to by for school to work with some children utilising sensors within Scratch. I am also new to Raspberry Pi!
Many thanks
