Thanks for the thanks, and sorry I didn't reply sooner. Could you possibly point out some of the problems for me?

Re: How-to: LLMP Stack + PhpBB + phpMyAdmin + h5ai

Hi there, I'm brand new to the forum and I wanted to give you a massive thanks for this guide. I recently rediscovered my rpi and never got around to doing much with it. I decided I'd like to have some fun hosting a forum for some online friends and I, the only thing that I had minor concerns about...

Re: How to change Print Scrn key command?

Raspbian is based on LXDE. Have you tried doing a search in your favorite search site for the following terms? change default print screen command scrot lxde Chances are good you'll find the exact answer to your question in one of the initial results (as I had). Strange, I had heard that the print ...

Re: I cant enter commands in the terminal!

I once experimented with starting a Minecraft PE server with rc.local (with & after the start server command), but the lines of text the server output when starting were mixed up in the boot process, and I couldn't control the server console, so instead I opted to autologin to the desktop, and added...

Re: State of OpenGL driver on Pi3?

I was going to get a Pi 3 B, partially for the extra power, and also because of the new experimental OpenGL driver (no, I don't want to play Minecraft on it), but after seeing https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=150420 , I'm having doubts... advice? How to change Print Scrn key command?

Wow, two posts in a row (I've been trying to remember what I wanted to post for days, and when I woke I suddenly remembered both of them). How to change the command Print Scrn executes? I know in Raspbian Jessie it was bound to scrot, but is there any way to change it do something else? Specifically...

Re: Desktop autologin

Hello! I was wondering if there is a specific reason for Ctrl+Alt+F1 dropping you into a logged-in tty1 console session even if the user has logged out in the GUI. I have tested on Raspbian on RPi 2 B when Desktop Autologin was selected with raspi-config. It seems like a vulnerability to me but I w...

FYI, there's an option in the UCP (click your username to access the UCP, I think the option's in the Preferences>Board Preferences section) that lets you turn that feature on. It just isn't on by default. Admins, It Should Be. (although I'm not sure it's possible) I agree....it should be the defau...

Number of raspberries at top of screen when booting

This is strange. In most cases, including my Pi, when booting Raspbian there's just one Raspberry Pi logo at the top of the screen. However, take a look at this: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/download/file.php?id=15433 I've seen this once before somewhere else, but with three raspberries. I ass...

Re: Run f.lux on a Pi? Probably not...

There is an alternative called redshift , but since the Raspberry Pi does not support online gamma correction it doesn't work. Perhaps it's just a job of writing an Xorg driver which exposes existing GPU functionality or it might be that this functionality just doesn't exist on the Pi. ghans It onl...

Re: Raspbian and SD Card

To clarify, and also for anyone who comes across this post in future, I'm going to explain like they know nothing about this. Creating the SD card for the Pi divided the card into different "sections" (Partitions). Windows can't see the main Linux (Raspbian) partitions. it can only see one tiny FAT ...

Re: cmake not working properly?

For some reason cmake hasn't detected a C++ compiler. Does /usr/bin/c++ exist on your system? If not then you need to install g++ ( /usr/bin/c++ is usually a link to /usr/bin/g++ via /etc/alternatives/c++ ). If you do have a working C++ compiler then you need to look at why cmake didn't detect it, ...

After hearing so many good things about it, I decided to try out kweb3, and fell in love with the GTK3 version. I would really like to use this as browsing level 3c (see this post ), but first I have a question. Does this leave browsing history/cookies/cache/other gunk on my Pi? If so, how to clear ...
