Re: Beginner Raspberry Pi Dramble hardware question

I haven't been through the full list of switches you gave, but that cheap one doesn't appear to have PoE which would explain why it is so cheap. Of course, if you use power supplies to run the Pi cluster instead of PoE HATs or adaptors you don't need a PoE switch. Also, looking at the prices given ...

Beginner Raspberry Pi Dramble hardware question

Hello! After reading the Pi Dramble wiki page about a clustered Raspberry Pi project, I just had two questions concerning the POE gigabit port unmanaged network switches listed in this Pi Dramble wiki page. My first question is about the network switch listed on the 2019 edition hardware, http://www...

Combining/Clustering Raspberry Pi and Android Device (Smartphone)

Hello, Just a question concerning a project that I'm making, involving a Raspberry Pi working with a smartphone (specifically an android) device. Is it possible, or has there been any projects (that someone in this forum may be aware of) that have combined the operating systems from both a Raspberry...

Any affordable and accurate GNSS IMU Barometer receivers for Raspberry Pi

I'm looking for an add-on device that has all the features of utilizing multiple GNSS receivers (connecting with many satellites like GPS / QZSS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, SBAS, ...) with perhaps Untethered Dead Reckoning (UDR) capabilities, with IMU and Barometer sensors, with a discrete antenna, t...

Re: Best Raspberry-PI + Arduino Hardware?

Haha I'm blown away by all of the good responses, really an eye opener (because I usually over complicate things) In terms of price, price is not much of a big deal for me, but I would like to maximize my value for quality! But besides that, I'm really interested in expanding the functiona...

Best Raspberry-PI + Arduino Hardware?

Hi, I'm still fairly new to the Raspberry Pi, and I'm astonished with it's potential. Currently I am interested in using Arduinos as well, but I was curious on finding out the best methods to use them together for other projects in the future. In researching possible solutions, I stumbled ...

Raspberry Gameboy Cartridge Dumping I/O Pin Assistance

Hi, I recently got interested in this project, to emulate a gameboy game cartridge after its data is dumped through the raspberry pi and emulated and played through it. Here's the post; https://blog.thijsalkema.de/blog/2013/05/14/game-boy-cartridge-dumping-on-a-raspberry-pi-part-1/ https://blog.thij...

Re: HOWTO: Use Android Tablet as a screen / keyboard

I've got a question about this, could the Raspberry Pi also use the phone's speakers? How about Wifi? And how about the FM module that's enabled for android phones?

Re: HOWTO: Use Android Tablet as a screen / keyboard

Thank you for the post! I have a question, would this work on a Motorola Droid razr XT912 4g LTE? What if I have a pipboy software program installed in the Raspberry Pi, could it be possible to have it displayed on my pipboy, making my Motorola into its monitor?
