Re: Kernel cross compile fails at MODPOST.

Just doing ARCH=arm is not good enough, you have to use the CROSS_COMPILE keyword as well to specify the toolset.

Have a look at http://elinux.org/Rpi_kernel_compilation for more extensive documentation for cross-compiling.

Re: Kernel Panic on concurrent network and usb storage

I compiled a new kernel myself to include IPv6 support and I've seen this issue too.

This happened at speeds around 500 - 700 kb/sec with a usenet binary download, sometimes it took just 10 seconds, other times it took a few minutes.

It seems that it's disabled in the kernel:$ zgrep IPV6 /proc/config.gz
# CONFIG_IPV6 is not set I guess I'll have to figure out a way to compile my own kernel.

Have you tested the cable with any other equipment?

Re: IPv6 Support in Debian image?

I'm trying to get IPv6 working on the Debian image (19/04 version), but it doesn't seem to be enabled.

Googling voor "debian ipv6 enable" brings up mostly hits for disabling it, and I don't see any of those methods applied in the image.

How can I enable it?
