Thanks+++ for your reply.
Now, the Thingbox is only dedicated to Pi2.
So I understand that by using Raspi-config to activate SPI for all Thingbox users, I prevent some other use of these GPIOs ports.

Is there a counterpart to always activate SPI?
We wonder if we could always set it on the Thingbox...
