Re: TeamViewer on Raspberry Pi 3

I just checked and it looks like TV 12 host for Raspbian is now out. Seems better.

Re: TeamViewer on Raspberry Pi 3

I have similar issues with it. 1) If you have VNC enabled as well, TeamViewer probably won't work after anyone has used a VNC session. 2) TeamViewer seems to set a new random password after every session - you can disable this but I'm not sure it works. 3) Many times when you connect to TeamViewer y...

Re: Raspberry Pi 2 with multiple USB TTL serial adapters

Which kernel version are you using? If using the release version from last November, try leaving the USB/Serial adapters out while the Pi boots, then put them back in before you run your software. Better to just get the latest Insider preview kernel though where I think these serial issues are solved.

lcd_rotate=1 or lcd_rotate=3 don't seem to work though, so we're stuck in landscape for now.

Still, it's progress.

Can confirm touch does indeed work on latest preview release.

Trying to figure out how to make it work rotated now though..

Re: Serial port support for the raspi?

Thanks Dougie, that's useful info.

Sorted out my issue by getting a new serial/USB adapter - seems my older model doesn't drop the voltage to 3v3 accurately. I really must buy a multi-meter.

Re: Serial port support for the raspi?

No changes to Serial Sample code, and I'm using the on-board Pi2 UART.

Can't see what else I can be doing wrong.

Out of interest, those using the on-baord UART, which pin are people using as GND?

Re: Serial port support for the raspi?

Anyone having any success reading/writing to the UART since 10556 was released? I've tried the SerialSample from Github and get odd results both in and out - oddly its the same result both ways so at least looks like some sort of encoding issue. If I send a '0' either in or out it becomes [06] in He...

Re: Offical Display on Windows 10 IoT

For those interested, a new insider preview is available of Windows IoT - version 10.0.10556.0 - the screen does now work - though no touch yet.

Indeed, I asked there too.

Just wondering if anyone had seen/heard anything.

Offical Display on Windows 10 IoT

It doesn't work yet of course, but has anyone seen or heard anything from MS or anywhere about whether it will eventually?
