Re: compile Chromium Embedded Framework

The CEF project announced they are working on an official ARM port that will work on RPi without X11 (second phase of the project).

Re: Raspberry Pi B+ turn usb power off

Just tested this with the Pi 3 in case anyone is interested. Here is what I am seeing. The USB port numbering from the picture posted above: Hub:Port -- Controlled port(s) 0:1 -- Controls the Ethernet port 0:2 -- Controls all four USB ports (not the Ethernet) 0:3 -- Controls USB Port 4 0:4 -- Contro...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3 Model B + Touch Display = Rainbow Screen

Had troubles getting the Pi 3 to boot at all, kept stopping at the rainbow screen. I first tried a Raspbian Jessie image we burned 3 months ago and it hung. Another customized image we use in development daily also failed in the same way. Very strange since both images boot fine on a 2B board. I dow...

Nice to know the "fix" won't be to reboot the Pi every half hour ;) Does anyone know if there are plans to add...

Re: Sleep Mode - and or turn off backlight?

Andrew - Very strange behavior. Not sure why your Pi is rebooting. I am testing with a vanilla configuration of the RPi 2 using the latest official Jessie image from the RPi Foundation site. The only thing attached to the Pi is the 7" display, a Trendnet USB Ethernet adapter, a Logitech USB mouse/ke...

Re: Sleep Mode - and or turn off backlight?

Backlight control is now working as of the firmware commit on Oct 21st :D I was expecting to have brightness control, but writing values between 128 and 255 to /sys/class/backlight/rpi_backlight/brightness does not seem to have any effect on brightness. Values below 128 unexpectedly turn the ...
