Re: xrandr rotate display

Without a mouse, I was not going to find arandr command to be honest. I was mostly trying to get to a sane start place with minimal peripherals to allow attaching a display hat, but the hat was messing with my wifi. Hence some frustration. Curiously the wifi is now very happy, but was not during the...

Re: xrandr rotate display

No reason other than not aware that there is a "arandr" tool. Not sure how I would have found that out, aah - you guys are the boz! Google never said anything about an arandr tool. That is so neat just type "sudo arandr" and it's done. Thanks Andrum99. (I had actually edited the file while straining...

xrandr rotate display

I have a Pi 4 - I need to rotate display 180, and am loathe to edit the config file while upside down. (I actually dont want to use the display for much, but just to get some troubleshooting for newbies like me done, it helps a tonne.) I seem to have done something curious and don't recall what, bec...

Re: ADC Pi 8 channel I2C ADC converter

The board will give 3 samples per second at highest resolution (17bit), if you want faster just read the docs, and jumper it for 11-bit conversions ? Hope this helps, since I plan to build one myself from parts instead.

Re: AA Battery Power Issues

Without stressing myself about the battery capacity for long durations yet, I have so far done some experimenting using a car-charger to charge a phone at the high charging rate of 1A. Now these phone chargers are notorious for not actually pumping out 1A at 5.0v, still enough since I do intend powe...

Re: Suggested small displays

<t>I am looking for a 10" display, I am suspecting that the 7" ones out there are perhaps a tad smaller than i have in mind. Editing text on a 7" is not going to really work IMHO.<br/> <br/> It looks like one has to fork out about £120 plus postage, there must be something out there just a little wa...

Re: Don't have a Farnell account yet preordered a Pi so how do I know what's happening?

<t>I also have an "order" number - and this all explains why the order does not appear in my element14 profile (I have bought from them before). In that case is it called trolling if I purport, that the "more-stock-arrives" is only going to be in May or June?<br/> <br/> I joined the Q on April 1st, ...

Re: Pre-order e-mail from Farnell

I already have an account, but strange thing is, my order history is blank. So I am unable to see if E14 are going to send me one or not. I registered with Farnell on april 1, and got a response, I entered my cad details, so as far I can imagine, I am in the queue. puzzled
