Re: Kodi 15/16 Packages for Raspbian

Hi,

does anybody know if there is Kodi 16 available in official sources?
The archive.raspberrypi.org repository only has 2:15.2-2~jessie 0.

Code: Select all

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ apt-cache policy kodi

kodi:
2:15.2-2~jessie 0
500 http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian/ jessie/main armhf Packages

Re: Kodi 15 Packages for Raspbian Wheezy & Jessie for RPi2

ok - you wrote:
It is not optimized for RPi2 and will work with any RPi model.
So i thought it works on RPi B too.

I can update to 15.1 if I add "http://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian jessie main" to sources.list?

Re: Kodi 15 Packages for Raspbian Wheezy & Jessie for RPi2

I´ve installed Kodi 14.1 via archive.mene.za.net Repo.
How can I update to your 15.2 Version for Jessie?

I have a Raspberry Model B.

Re: Repositories

Thanks,

raspberrypi.org only hosts additional software?
Not the same programs hosted in raspbian.org?

Re: Repositories

is it recommended to add both to sources.list? Will they conflict?

Hi,

should I add archive.raspbian.org AND archive.raspberrypi.org to my sources.list?

What is the difference?

Re: Losing network connection

Hi, yes I switched to static IP in interfaces-file and stopped dhcpcd because it still fetched a dynamic ip. Here is my /etc/network/interfaces file: auto lo iface lo inet loopback auto eth0 allow-hotplug eth0 iface eth0 inet static address 192.168.2.11 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.2.1 dns-...
