Re: File sharing with OSX

Thanks for the guide on netatalk. I do have some problems though.
When accessing the external hdd on the pi it only shows 3,4GB free space, even though it is an empty HDD with 1TB of free space. It seems like it is showing the free space of the SD card and not the external HDD.
Whats wrong?

Re: USB HDD not enough space

Ok...I have now formatted the drive in EXT4, what about mount and permission rights?
Have you done anything in special about auto mount in /etc/fstab ?

How do you use Samba on the Mac?

Sorry about all the questions, but I am quite new in linux...

Re: USB HDD not enough space

Also needed to say, that I am accessing the USB HDD from my Macbook Pro in Finder.
The access is swift, however, when it comes to file transfer, no go.
I can add and remove folders, also amend them, but when I need to transfer a file it stops and says "not enough space on disc"

USB HDD not enough space

Hi there...quite new to this forum, so first of all Hi to you all! I have a raspberry pi 2 model B, and finally installed Weezy and a plea server. Also installed Netatalk in order to access my USB HDD with 1TB on the Raspberry. My problem is that when trying to drag and drop a file over 1GB it says ...
