Re: BNO080 Integration (Hillcrest FSM300)

Regarding problems with the I2C I have use the software i2c with the BNO055 without problems. Take a look here https://github.com/fivdi/i2c-bus/blob/master/doc/raspberry-pi-software-i2c.md to see how to activate it. For use it I've used wiringpi as interface with i2c Now I'm looking to use BNO080, c...

[SOLVED] DHCP starts after reconnection in a static interfac

I have install a fresh Jessie image and same problem. I had follow the dhcpcd.conf creating profiles and blablabla but it is buggy. Do exactly the same. At the boot everything works ok, but when you unplug and plug again if fails. Solution, the one mention before, edit /etc/wpa_supplicant/ifupdown.s...

Re: DHCP starts after reconnection in a static interface

Hi This is what I did. I have modified /etc/wpa_supplicant/ifupdown.sh And replaced # quit if we're called for the loopback if [ "$IFACE" = lo ]; then exit 0 fi with # quit if we're called for the loopback if [ "$IFACE" = lo ]; then exit 0 fi if [ "$IFACE" = eth0 ]; then exit 0 fi Now it works ok, I...

Re: DHCP starts after reconnection in a static interface

I will show my age and the ravages it brings. But I have to say dhcpcd (besides its ridiculous name) is an aggravation almost equal to systemd sticking its nose everywhere. /etc/network/interfaces has worked perfectly well for ages. So why deprecate it? I agree with everything and my age is an old ...

Re: DHCP starts after reconnection in a static interface

It's well documented that doing it that way (without disabling dhcpcd) means that each active interface gets two IP addresses , one done with the static stuff in the interfaces file, one done by dhcpcd if there's an active DHCP server on the subnet. I don't get two IP's for the interface, interface...

DHCP starts after reconnection in a static interface

Hi, I have a static eth0 configuration, everything goes right until I unplug the ethernet connector and plug it again, after that dhcp starts over eth0 and my dhcp server gives a new IP to PI2, so I lose the static IP. I'm using raspbian jessie. Here is my interfaces file (actually I have one pseudo...

Re: Sleep Mode - and or turn off backlight?

I've received one from Farnell (Element14) and it's V1.1 but there is no reference about the model in the box.

Re: Sleep Mode - and or turn off backlight?

I think that the point is if we can buy an stand alone controller to replace our 1.0 units.

My only interest is to be able to use my displays, now I can't.

So the question is:

Can we buy the 1.1 controller board?

Re: Sleep Mode - and or turn off backlight?

Versión 1.1? With brightness adjustment?
Where is the announcement?
Where to buy?
It's possible to upgrade 1.0 to 1.1?
Farnell and RS say nothin about 1.1

Thanks for the good news, you make my day!

Re: Sleep Mode - and or turn off backlight?

That's the easy bit... echo 80 > /sys/class/backlight/rpi-backlight/brightness With my current build (not released yet) will do that... The thing I'm having trouble with right now is getting it to correctly blank the backlight when it goes to suspend, sometimes it works sometimes not... Gordon Plea...
