Thanks for your reply. Mostly my problem was a brainfart :mrgreen: Firstly I forgot that when you use the 10.0.0.0 address range when connected to a cable modem network it doesn't work. The 10.x.x.x addresses actually get routed out into the cable modem operators network. So when I was pinging 10.0....

I just purchased an RPi 3 and its sweet :P But something in the networking setup has changed from the the RPi 2 distro to the latest RPi 3 distro. I used to be able to ssh from windows 10 to my RPi 2 by setting a static IP on both machines. This no longer works. I get a connection refused message wh...
