LOL... electric heater.... I wanted to borrow it to fry my eggs this morning.

Still I kind of find that number hard to believe. Maybe the program or sensor is wrong.

Exactly what do you think will happen to your Pi 2? There's no BIOS to infect so maybe you're just paranoid. In any case, you could always scan it with ClamAV if you're worried the sleeper cells have installed terror software.

If you want it to "just work" get a mini HDMI screen with USB touch. I got a 7" WaveShare.

But I'm not sure what accelerated X has to do with ARM SoC's. It's a GPU thing, not an ARM SoC thing. Lack of decent OpenGL support is the ONLY reason were stuck using lightweight desktop environments like LXDE and XFCE on the Pi. VideoCore may be open source now but nobody is going to make a windo...

I've been through three clear acrylic cases already. The official case falls to pieces but it doesn't shatter when it hits the ground.

The Pi 2s survived anyways, they seem fairly tough to me.
