Re: RPi as I2C Slave, a summary (2019/03)

Hi,
I'm using succesfully GPIO18/19 and BSC on a raspeberry Zero with I2C slave configuration. However I can't get it working to send a value back. So my Arduino is master, sends a value to the RPI -> that works great. How can the RPI now reply and send a value back?

RPI B+ Wifi only when ethernet cable plugged in

Hi, I'm using an Edimax EW-7811UN wifi stick and it works only if i reboot the RPI b+ with a connected lan cable. So obviously it starts the service on start but not if there is no cable? Do you have an idea how to solve this? auto lo iface lo inet loopback auto eth0 allow-hotplug eth0 iface eth0 in...

Re: Is there now any working capture device? Needed for Nest

Two more examples, maybe it helps to find the error

If the bord moves fast there is some kind of "double" exposure. Actually it's just one bird in the box. After more movement (left the box) green lines appeared and the frame rate went to 0fps

Is there now any working capture device? Needed for Nest box

Hi, last year I built a nest box for birds and equiped it with a composite camera. It works quite well but I also would like to stream the video with a RPI B+ Tried 4 different usb capture devices with stk1160 and 007 chips. I chose the best but it is still very bad because of a very slow frame rate...

Problems with datatypes

Hello, I'm getting some serial data from a wireless transmitter. A Python script then write those in a sqlite database. Sometimes however an error occurs and the script is cancelled. I assume that there is an error during transmitting as there is written something like wert_1: but there should be on...

Re: Connect two RPIB+ via VPN

Well, honestly I don't know which server is running on that router.
I'm using this device http://en.avm.de/products/fritzbox/frit ... 0/details/
I got the server-address and account data, established a connection on my pc and have access to the rpi as well.

Re: Connect two RPIB+ via VPN

Hey, thanks very much. I have to use an arduino in addition as I need to control something else and receive sensor values. I though the same with removing one but I think it's easier as I drew it. With VPN: My VPN is managed by my router. That works very well. With terminal and my PC I can connect w...

Connect two RPI via VPN

Hello,
I'd like to control a RPI with another RPi via a VPN connection.
RPI_1 is attached to a switch
RPI_2 has a motor attached on GPIO

Can anybody give me a hint how to send the command "gpio -g write 38 1" to the RPI_2?

(RPI_2 is already accessible over a VPN connection)
Thanky you :)
