JFFS and JFFS2 are meant to be used when you have direct access to the NAND flash chips. The usual scenario for use is when a board has flash chips directly soldered and connected to the processor. As the raspberrypi uses an SD card - the only access is via the sdcard interface to the embedded flash...

I did a Raspbian upgrade to one of my boards - the usual apt-get update && apt-get upgrade etc When I rebooted the board it wouldn't boot. I got the green led flashing 3 times repeatedly - which I believe means can't find start.elf I checked, fsck, the boot partition on my linux desktop for errors e...

Reading MagPi on a Kindle

I sometimes copy the MagPi PDF to my kindle (keyboard) for reading on the bus train etc. I've just put the latest issue 11 on my kindle, but many pages are just a header text/image with the rest of the page is blank. I've not had problems with previous copies of the MagPi. Anybody got any ideas on w...

For the NFS tests what were your wsize and rsize values for the nfs mount?
