Re: Speaker Problem

Thanks for the reply. That's a bit annoying, i'm surprised I haven't heard anybody else complaining about it. Does anyone know what the problem is? I can see two solutions, some sort of hardware fix, or software that keeps the line open? I don't know whether such software would effect power consumpt...

Speaker Problem

I am currently working on a project with speech synthesis. The synthesis works well, but every time it starts or stops there is a horrible bang on the speaker/headphones. I am using espeak, so I thought it might be something to do with that accessing the hardware rather than the default software, bu...

Re: Wi-Fi Controlled Robotic Vehicle

<t>You're having a laugh. I have spent the past week making a wifi enabled robot, with PWM motor control, servo movable webcam, bank of sensors, arduino compatible and raspberry pi connectible (hopefully)! I have included pan and tilt for the webcam, a digital compass, a range sensor and a temperatu...

Re: Case/Keyboard/mouse idea

<t>I had an idea yesterday about a combined case/keyboard/mouse and possibly screen idea. I was thinking that the Pi could have a keyboard similar to the HTC Dream, but slightly larger, the same size as the Pi itself. This could be mounted above the board. On the back, you could mount a nintendo DS ...
