thanks i did look at buying rubber covered dome's but couldn't find a supplier glad you liked the case, there still selling well over 1000 sold in total between me and the guys at yoctopuce.

The idea for panel mounting doesn't need din if you look at the enclosure page we made a Case that's magnetic or screwed to back plates, the stackable 4port hub we make are much more less cable intensive we also do a 16 way hub that's panel base mount and USB cables in various sizes Other Linux boxe...

It wouldn't surprise me to find this fails, if you've got 26 devices with half having interrupt / isochronous endpoints then you're just going to end up with huge numbers of interrupts which will slow the box to nothing and probably make it crash as well... I guess it depends if your script does it...

I'll boot up my 26 USB devices and run the scripts and see if it all falls over its the best test you can get its 60 odd io with a64 k script asking for 30 inputs and switching 30 out put channels over the USB twin hubs each 13 channels with no back fed power lets keep fingers crossed

i use lazercutz.co.uk theres no reason you cannot get the metal plate in Acrylic and to be honest for such a small piece less than A4 in size give Dave at lasercutz a call or email he is the most helpful of guys on the planet..

thank you i didn't mean every one has an issue its just most of what i have read is all the V1 and v1.1 Hid Usb devices having some issue some people don't even notice the key stoke issue on some keyboards there just living with it, the 26 devices are happily working with out issue on a Igep2 board ...

glad it made you smile worth a try i bet even on ebay now the revision 1s wont sell for what we bought them for.

you cannot please some people any of the time.

all i wanted was the USB port to work and react the same as every other linux box on the plant but it still seams to hard to fix.

Question as Revision 1 has proven not worthy, under UK law are we entitled to a free upgrade and return of these sub par cards to get the Version 2 cards which clearly fixes quite a few issues if i buy a £10000 car and it was deaned not fit for purpose i would get money or replacement how does it wo...
