Re: Moving Linux Kernel to 5.4

The gamecon drivers fail to install with this new kernel. I did update to the "latest" 5.4. Installed the kernel headers with rpi-source and make headers_install INSTALL_HDR_PATH=/usr. Pi4. Retropie on top of raspbian-lite buster. 32bit kernel. Retropie-Setup log: https://pastebin.com/1yL6nijR /var/...

Re: Mesa 19.3.2 available for testing

Testing more stuff using the retropie pi4 weekly dev builds, I don't really notice a speed bump. I'll have to wait until the emulators are built for gles3.

Re: Mesa 19.3.2 available for testing

Just installed RetroPie - Getting 60fps from emulationstation and glxgears - matching the refresh rate. 30fps while the main screen is up Downgraded mesa to 19.2.0 - Same results in emulationstation. glxgears framerate went down. Can't reproduce the issues reported on the retropie forum. I'm the po...

Re: Retropie vs. SNES Classic

There's enough videos of retropie to make your own decision. The pi will always be a better deal because retropie can play more than snes out of the box without hacking it. Lots more choices too. An snes game might have bugs? There are at least 4 snes emulators to choose from that vary in speed/accu...

Re: Everything working but NEO GEO and later MAME...

Yes, get the correct romset for the emulator you want to use and your games will work. Also making sure the game is even supported. I recommend fba for neo geo. Up to date emulation.

Re: Multi-console gamepad driver for GPIO

@marqs thanks. Someone else fixed the issue like last month, but glad to see an official fix. Not sure if it's possible, but is there a way for analog controls to be registered as digital? The snes dpad registers as analog and not digital.-1,+1,-0,+0 for up/down/left/right. The reason I want to do t...

Re: Multi-console gamepad driver for GPIO

Is there a kodi 17 add on or a way to get my gamecon snes pads working in kodi? USB pads work on my libreelec kodi partition. Snes pads work in my retropie partition with the gamecon driver.

Re: RetroPie / Rasplex Dual-Boot Image

SO Glad someone put this together - absolutely brilliant and I honestly wish there was a tutorial I could learn from to see how it was done!!! :D That being said 2 quick questions if I may: 1) WiFi - is there a way to set this up to work in both RasPlex and RetroPie? I can't see a configuration for...
