Re: Raspberry Pi, relay besturing via webpagina

Re: Free assembly language book available online

That's odd, I just clicked on the link (Chrome, Windows 10) and it opened right away. Have you tried typing in the url by hand? I used Chromium on my RPi3 (running PIXEL) to open the site last night. . Thank you. I just checked on a different internetprovider and there the page loads without proble...

Re: Is it ok for an 11-year-old kid to ask questions here?

My son of 12 years old is a minecraft addict from hour one :-) But he gets robotica education in the classroom. They use Arduino for the first few lessons. And the more experienced ones get to play with raspberry pi's and the connection between the pi and Arduino. He is already planning his educatio...

Re: Barcode scanner plug and play?

Bij de meeste barcode scanenrs zit een boekje met codes om die dingen in keyboard-emulation with or without CRLF te zetten.
Dan is het gewoon een USB toetsenbord, en werkt het standaard.

Re: LCD 16x2 has no contrast

Hi,

Just a thought but did you try to set backlight by sending hex 0x7C and then an number between 128 and 157 decimal?
I had to send it to my display before it worked properly.
See documentation on HD44780 for extended explanations.

Re: Raspberry Pi Demo Scene?

while technically running on a raspberry pi, the purist in me was hoping they would be assembler/bare metal like the good old amiga days. stick a card in, instant on, boom. That would be great to do. But i myself was a C64 assembler programmer back in the days. Doing demo's. The difference with the...

Re: Raspberry Pi Demo Scene?

We've been hoping to do something at Assembly for a few years; haven't got it together yet. Watch this space. this remains one of the coolest things I've ever seen anybody do with a computer, given the constraints. Hi Liz. I do agree. One of the very coolest things to do, making a demo and pushing ...

Re: pi3D on Adafruit TFT screen

Thank you both for your help. The tool i needed was fbcp (framebuffer copy). It did the trick, now it is working. Setting the HDMi output to 640x480 is also a good idea, so aspect rations are correct when copy to the adafruit screen (320x240). For anyone reading this and also has this problem; https...

pi3D on Adafruit TFT screen

Hi, After searching this forum and the internet i could not find a solutions. So decided to ask here. I am trying to get PI3D to display to a Adafruit 2.8" TFT touchscreen. Been through the tutorials on Adafruit webpage, but they only explain video and pictures. The screen is using /dev/fb1. I have ...

Re: Deploying simple projects takes a long time (2 min+)?

I must agree, i find the speed of the entire process also very slow. But keep in mind it is just a pre-release where not all PI hardware is supported, and you are developing on a pre-release of Windows 10 with a release candidate of visual studio 2015. ;) Microsoft products are also famous for there...

Re: Modern UI frameworks?

Hi, Nice discussion, been reading with great interrest. Currently i am looking for UI / graphics lib to be used on the PiTFT (http://www.adafruit.com/product/1601). Does any of you know if the UI / graphics tools you use work on this screen? Because it uses FRAMEBUFFER /dev/fb1 instead of fb0. And i...

programming graphics on a PiTFT touchscreen

Hi, I've connected a PiTFT Mini Kit - 320x240 2.8" TFT+Touchscreen for Raspberry Pi. Like the one bought on Adafruits website. Hi ricITA, It seems like the datasheet of the display you attached is only the display interface, not the serial interface included. Hi, Is it just my feeling or does anyone else have the same experience with the 2013-02-09-wheezy-raspbian image. It somehow seems to work much slower on a rev 1. 256MB Model B board. I can´t seem to find out what´s causing it. For example the minecraft PI edition works fine on the raspbian 2012-08 ...
