sudo apt-get install zip p7zip-full

There's no 'restricted-extras' package for 'debian', like in ubuntu?

make .zip with xarchiver

I need to create a pkzip .zip archive (for openELEC add-on) with raspbian.
xarchiver only seems to list: bz2 gz lzma tar tar.bz2 tar.gz tar.lzma when I go to create one.
Can I add that function??

btw, any way to install file-roller... without bringing in the whole nautilus desktop??

OK, got it now. I'm guessing the crux is - if you run swap on nfs (remote) the swapfile must be mounted as a loop device (local).
