Re: Replace a component

Thats a 220uF capacitor, rated at 16V (if I'm right from my mind) Package type is D8. Can't give a recommendation where to buy it as I don't know ypour location. https://www.digikey.com/products/en/capacitors/aluminum-electrolytic-capacitors/58?k=&pkeyword=&sv=0&pv2049=u220%C2%B5F&pv2079=u16V&pv16=1...

Re: PI 4 Compute module with pci-e?

My biggest concern despite the pci-e is the backward compatibility. Whatever happens and created, should be backward compatible :)!! backward compatibility at the sake of loosing new features makes no sense .. So for exiting stuff one can keep using CM3/CM3+ and for new stuff they can use CM4 (if i...

So your VBAT is 3.3V, correct? Why should that be a problem when boosting it to 5V?

Re: LVDS add-on for Raspberry models with 40pin GPIO

Search the web for JEIDA and for VESA data mapping in LVDS. Your LVDS transmitter is not able to switch between the two standard mappings as LVDS data mapping is defined by HW connections EDIT: VESA mapping is the first picture in this post https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=157...

Re: LVDS add-on for Raspberry models with 40pin GPIO

1. Check your LVDS data mapping is correct
2. Check if rbg_order in dpi_output_format is matching your HW connections

My guess is 1.

With wrong timings you can have everything: random data to no display at all.

You have a timing chart, so start working from this.

Re: LVDS add-on for Raspberry models with 40pin GPIO

What you've posted here is no timing data! It's the LVDS mapping - which is VESA btw.

You will need to have timing data (see an example here https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/memb ... e&u=152468) of your screen; without you're screwed up

There are tons of options out there, so it's up to you to make your choice.

Sorry, but as I've not decided what to do with this board main HW features will not be disclosed.

You need to enable FMKS driver. Screen configuration tool will then allow you to switch between the resolutions read from EDID.

Hi, I know MichaR's schematic and the LVDS transmittter he's using. Make sure it's control signals are correct (data mapping i.e,) for your display. As I'm using a different transmitter on my expansion board for the LVDS4CM3L board (https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=188450#p1385429)...

Tempted to say ‘it’s a hackers solution’ but I won’t  Neat idea - maybe a market for a mk2 keyboard - main issue is that moulding is not cheap though and this would be a specialist need I think due to the lack of access to the GPIO else it would have been great for schools etc as an all in one...

... Anyhow, would have been great if the keyboard chassis would have allowed to mount a Pi3A+ inside (with the required openings i.e. By breakout taps). Should have been possible from the injection mold POV. Like this https://blog.pimoroni.com/putting-a-raspberry-pi-3-a-in-the-raspberry-pi-keyboard...

Don't know if it is really working that way, but:
Open screen configuration tool
Put your two desktops on top of each other
Click the button with the green check mark

Your screen should show the same content. Be warned that the taskbar may be incompletely display on the lower resolutiin screen

Why not let us know what you're trying to connect to? Interpreting the data is the big task. Once you think you found something send the command to yiur unit and see if it reacts correctly. If not you'll have to start over. I've used a logic analyzer in the past for reverse engineering some serial c...

You are mentioning two displays: a 32in TV and a 27in dell monitor. Have you tested them individually already (on...
