Re: Trying Bare Metal on Raspberry Pi 2

I use this demo https://github.com/PeterLemon/RaspberryPi/blob/master/V3D/ControlList/NV/Vertex_Array/Triangle/VertexColor/kernel7.asm I draw two triangles, which they have same coordinates x and y but other coordinates z.Only last triangle is drawn, if coordinate z has value<0,1> .Previous triangle...

Re: EMMC write multi block

Thanks very much.

Just I added really only these two commands to sd_commands[] and problem is solved. Time write decreased.

For example:
File 750kB
before code modification: ~ 15s
after code modification: ~ 2s

So thanks user 'rst'.

EMMC write multi block

Hi, When writing multiple blocks are always calls back sd card initialization. When first it does not happen, but when next write multi block it always happens. Then write to the SD card is quite slow. I use this basic source code https://github.com/jncronin/rpi-boot/blob/master/emmc.c Don't you kno...

Re: PWM sound

I am trying to provide user a different quality files for playback. I am aware that the more are files "quality" that take up more space. I know the quality of the 16bit file is going to be compromised and it is best to use 12-bit. My goal is to playback the file even if the quality is not the same ...

Re: Introducing USPi - A bare metal USB driver written in C

In main loop i have these functions USPiReceiveFrame() and shownImage(). My program sends large amounts of data (image) via Ethernet and displayed on HDMI. HDMI displays image and its permutations RGB. Each permutation RGB image is then displayed. In order to see the eye here is a timer, which waits...

Re: GPIO Pin UART0,UART1

I wanted to know whether e.g. GPIO32, GPIO33 are connected to anything.

https://www.raspberrypi.org/wp-content/ ... .2_027.pdf

If I want to use UART0 so I can only through GPIO14 (TX) and GPIO15 (RX) or I can use GPIO32 (TX) and GPIO33 (RX).

GPIO Pin UART0,UART1

Hi all,

I have one question.
Are GPIO Pins 32,33 or 36,37 for UART0 connected to anything? Or I must use the default GPIO Pins 14,15.
And therefore, I can use UART0 or UART1.

Re: Trying Bare Metal on Raspberry Pi 2

Hello

I have problem with UART.

From PC to RPI the data is sent correctly
but from RPI to PC the data is sent badly.

I use program 'gtkterm' Baudrate-115200, Stop bit-1, Data bit-8, Parity bit-none

I tried an example from the user 'mrvn' and yet I still returning data wrong.

Some idea?

Boot code from SD card (other possibilities)

Hi all, I have one question. For boot code to raspberryPi I use these steps: 1, remove SD card from raspberryPI and turn off. 2, create new file with name "kernel.img". 3, insert SD card to PC. 4, copy file "kernel.img" to SD card 5 remove SD card from PC 6, insert SD card to raspberryPI and turn on...
