Fact is, RPi 3 with Pixel has Chromium as default & only browser, it's integrated, so as it's buggy, it needs fixing. That's not true. The default image also contains epiphany, which also has HW accelerated video. It definitely has bugs, which will not be repaired any more, but has one great advant...

I found out the problem in my case -

It is GL (full or fake KMS) - when I disabled it & use the original non-GL drier, no more crashes.

Fact is,

Chromium on RPi 3 Pixel

The latest version of Chromium, I think 56, keeps crashing the O/S on RPi 3, either randomly, or when I try to visit some sites, like logging in to Google or Google Mail. This makes it unusable, anyone having this issue, any bug report on this? Is it possible to install another browser, like firefox...
