Does this mean it is not currently possible to get it to work with the pi4?

Re: Tonido not accessible

Of course I did try installing the library, but it tells me it has no installation candidate. The files themselves don't exist anywhere on the pi. I also tried what is described in the link below, but it doesn't work. https://github.com/pahaz/docker-compose-django-postgresql-redis-example/issues/1 I...

Tonido not accessible

Hi I installed Tonido (kind of a local cloud service). I disabled apache and ran the service which supposedly works on port 10001, but I can't access it using http://localhost:10001/ https://www.tonido.com/support/display/docs/Raspberry+Pi Below is the status. When I looked using netstat -an i don't...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 temperature

I bought this one from China. Looks similar, but it's all metal. It should be here any day. Stuck with my local mailman somewhere. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000002704797.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.36f7434759rb5H&algo_pvid=b1886889-1826-49c0-b5ab-acc57410d525&algo_expid=b1886889-1826-49c0-...

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 temperature

Which is better; ceramic or metal heat sink? I read that the pores in the ceramic heat sinks make it better, but after installing one on the CPU and one on the chip next to it, i noticed the temperature actually started rising. That is until I turned on a small desk fan that i have on my desk to coo...

Re: Installing pyplate

I ran all steps, but: - After apt-y install libapache2-mod-wsgi, i get "libapache2-mod-wsgi is already the newest version (4.6.5-1) - After a2enmod wsgi, I get "Error: Module wsgi does not exist!" It might be worth mentioning that at this point apache is not running because of the error in my previo...

Installing pyplate

I came across this CMS and I thought I'd give it a try. They list 3 options, but I prefer to use apache to be consistent with what I use for my software. During the installation I found one problem which I was able to overcome curl http://pyplate.com/install_apache.sh | sudo bash I had to add www to...

Re: Remmina

I am not sure why people keep suggesting VNC when it seems its an RDP / Remmina issue which the OP wants solving. It's mind boggling. Isn't it :D I only care about accessing the windows PC preferably without installing any foreign software. I am familiar with VNC and use it all the time. I just wan...

Re: Remmina

I installed Remmina on my Pi4, but the screen appears very small when i try to RDP to a windows PC. From that I would assume you are using a Pi desktop client to remotely access your Windows PC. But from some of the replies it seems that can be interpreted as being the other way round. Perhaps you ...

Remmina

I installed Remmina on my Pi4, but the screen appears very small when i try to RDP to a windows PC. I am not sure how to adjust it. Facial recognition

I am looking for a facial recognition software for my pictures. Something similar to Picasa, but runs on the raspberry pi. Does one exist?
I see there are some for the pi camera, but i only need it for my pictures.

Thanks

Relay triggering GPIO

My question is related to the post below, but I felt it is better I start a new post for future reference. https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=230964&p=1461058#p1461058 Instead of a tactile switch, I would be using an HID reader with a controller called V1000 and a V100 (too much...

Re: Connecting a tactile switch

When I tested it two days ago, I put the capacitor between the GPIO and GND like mahjongg suggested. I added some .2 extra delays on top of the delay I already had and I stopped getting the false signals, but this is in my lab situation. In the production environment I think it may be different. The...

Sorry for my ignorance, but is there anyway I can use a diode? I don't have any capacitors until I get a chance to go buy some.
