Re: All packages are up to date.

This option has of course occurred to me. All the apps currently loaded on this troubled Pi still work perfectly, which is why doing this in troublesome. But you may be correct in what I'll have to do. And I did all those things right? Wrong! Have you? LOL But the important stuff is mostly in prefer...

Re: All packages are up to date.

I get the same results using apt or apt-get. Some time ago (now that I think of it) something went wrong with an update/upgrade causing some kind of error. The problem now is I don't remember what happened or what I did about it. But I'm wondering if maybe wpasupplicant got uninstalled. Is that even...

All packages are up to date.

The last three times I ran sudo apt-get update I've gotten the message "All packages are up to date.", these runs were weeks apart. I got into the habit of running the update/upgrades every couple of weeks but this just doesn't seem right. My other to Pi's both update/upgrade as always so why is one...

Using Apache VHOST to server multiple Web Sites from a Pi

In the Help document 'SETTING UP AN APACHE WEB SERVER ON A RASPBERRY PI' it says "Note: The directory was /var/www in Raspbian Wheezy but is now /var/www/html in Raspbian Jessie". But since I can't get the sites to display in a browser my question is this. Does Apache2 know that in Raspbian Stretch ...

Re: Stretch is auto-starting a program

Who said it was a "default" Raspberry Pi"? This is the correct software. But its not the software causing the issue, something in the Pi is causing it. Ideas?

Stretch is auto-starting a program

After updating to Stretch, I find that it continuously tries to open a program (Direwolf). It opens a terminal but not the program itself. After a couple of minutes I might have 10 or 12 terminal windows open. Between all this if I go an open Direwolf manually then the auto-start stops and all seems...

SSH is enabled and the Pi has been accessed that way many times. I think the issue is getting through the Belkin to the pi.

WI-FI Failure to Launch in PI 3

At this point we've all read hundreds if not thousands of lines of well meaning folks trying to resolve the wi-fi issues on the PI 3.
