Re: Windows 10 IoT 7" Touch Screen

At the moment all blog entries are using displays with HDMI and describe how to strip down the resolution.

As mentioned here several times, new drivers will come at some time, so (as someone else mentioned here before) at the moment it's a waiting game.....

Monogame using WinIOT

Hi, If someone wants to start game development on the Pie and WinIoT, this might help: *) You need to add the develop branch NuGet feed to VS2015Rc to get the latest development assemblies as this fixes a few things to get UAP apps up and running (I tried 3.5.0.265) *) I tried to convert the Flappy ...

Hi,

Did you follow: http://ms-iot.github.io/content/en-US/w ... rShell.htm

Especially this part:
Set-Item WSMan:\localhost\Client\TrustedHosts -Value <machine-name or IP Address>

Re: Can header pin 11 be used as GPIO17 in Windows 10 IoT?

Hi, This doc helped me a lot to figure out the working GPIOs: http://ms-iot.github.io/content/en-US/win10/samples/PinMappingsRPi2.htm BUT, it's not possible to use GPIO4 (even when the doc tells something different). I ended up using three 74hc595 for my version of the Raspberry PI Pong C# -Version,...

Re: SPI Channel 1 with MCP3002 in Windows 10 IoT

You find the datasheet here:
https://www.adafruit.com/datasheets/MCP3008.pdf
Table 5.2 is what you need...

When I playd around with it I was successful with these values:
0x08 was CH0
0x09 was CH2
0x0A was CH4
0x0B was CH6

Re: SPI Channel 1 with MCP3002 in Windows 10 IoT

I have no idea, why 0x68 is used, I would try 0x6C (set the 3rd bit), because channel = 0 sends 0000 0001 1000 0000 0000 0000 channel = 1 sends 0000 0001 1100 0000 0000 0000 I've applied the reference voltage of +3.33V to the input of the MCP and I received a value of 1023 when the setup was correct...

Re: SPI Channel 1 with MCP3002 in Windows 10 IoT

Hi, I played around with the MCP3008 last weekend, so I was also puzzled what the wiriteBuffer means, which I figured out by looking at the datasheet. So, look at the DataSheet for the MCP3002 in TABLE 5-1 you will find the description for setting the bits... http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pd...
